Quiz Maker
Via the Control Panel
Steps for entering a quiz in control panel:
1) Log-in to www.searchlit.org/admin
- or alternatively by the public entry QuizMaker
3) You are now in the manage quizzes screen. From here you can:
- add a new quiz
- edit an existing quiz
- Activate a "pending" quiz from the public quiz entry.
4) Click "Add New Quiz" to start a new quiz entry
5) The Add Quiz fields include the following. Enter all that apply.
| Field Name | Details |
| Quiz Name | Quiz name is not necessarily the title of the eText |
| Objectives | What is the purpose of the quiz question |
| Grades | grade level range |
| Jump ID | The Jump ID is found at the bottom of the text record pages. For example > N190 |
| By entering the Jump ID, the link to the text record page will be automatic | |
| Title Info | Label the link generated from the Jump ID |
| Related Link Name | Need an additional link for the quiz? Enter the name here |
| Related Link URL | Enter the URL for the extra link here |
6) Hit the "continue" button and you should see a "success" message.
7) Now, add as many questions as you like to your quiz. Keep in mind that each question will be associated with the eText identified in the initial screens.
Enter a Essay Questionor Multiple Choice, Ordering , T/F, Matching questions to the quiz
8) When you are finished entering all the questions related to the quiz, alert Wayne via e-mail at wayne@lownmail.com to finalize quiz and make it live on the site.
