Quiz Maker Instructions

These instructions are for the public quiz maker found at at http://www.searchlit.org/quizmaker.

At the first screen, Make a new quiz online, you are asked to supply the following personal information:

Field Name	Field Details	Optional, but encouraged
Share your info?	You can choose to share your information or not
Your Name	This will help your students find your quiz
Your Email	E-mail used only by webmaster
School Name	Optional, but requested
City, State	Optional, but requested
Your Position	Are you a teacher or do you have another position?

Field Name	Field Details
Quiz Name	Quiz name is not necessarily the title of the eText
Objectives	What is the purpose of the quiz question
Grades	grade level range
Jump ID	The Jump ID is found at the bottom of the text record pages. For example > N190
	By entering the Jump ID, the link to the text record page will be automatic
Title Info	Label the link generated from the Jump ID
Related Link Name	Need an additional link for the quiz? Enter the name here
Related Link URL	Enter the URL for the extra link here

When all of the fields have been entered correctly, click the continue button. You will see a messsage stating "Success. Your quiz has been added to the database." Now it is time add questions to the quiz.
